Despite the fact that he is knowledge of professionals, Sanders pointed to the style of modern NFL practices when he discovered what would prevent him from taking over the coaching job with any of the 32 league franchises.
“That’s how we practiced,” Sanders said. “I know it’s sweet, but I couldn’t train Pro Ball. The way they exercise, the way they go through, I couldn’t handle it – as a man, and as a football fan. I care about the game. … I can’t let it be that happens on your watch. “

Sanders became a media star when he finished his career. But in recent years, Sanders has focused on training at the collegial level. After a successful spelling in Jackson, Sanders took a job at the University of Colorado.
Buffaloes Improved under Sanders in 2024, and success added fuel to the idea Sanders could soon leave football for NFL.
This is not the first time Sanders rejected the proposal to make a jump Nfl. In 2022, he said “60 minutes” that “could not train” at the level of Pro.
“I couldn’t train Pro Ball,” he explained. “It’s not just a glory or money. It’s about the love of a game. The way things are done now, I couldn’t accept it. It would be difficult for me to let that happen under my watch.”

During the appearance of “Good Morning America” last month, Sanders asked again about his appearance for NFL training.

The cowboys split up with the head coach Mike McCarthy in January. Cowboy owner Jerry Jones has confirmed that he has Talking to Sanders During the franchise search for the next main coach. Dallas eventually hired Brian Schottenheimer, but Aikman said he would “make a lot of sense” to run cowboys.
“They asked me a lot of questions about how you think Deion would do?” Aikman recounted. “I said,” I think Deion would have done great. “There is a small handful of people who just wouldn’t bet.

Aikman said he understood that Sanders could have more influence at college level.
“You don’t impress the young men the way you are in college, but suggest that he would not be good at it or successful in it, I think people really don’t know Deiona’s story. I think Dallas, Deion would really fit well because he would command room.
“His personality is such that people would know that he is the main one. I think it is important that every organization knows that he is the main coach of the one who calls the shots and he is the main one.”
Aikman and Sanders played for the cowboys when the team won Super Bowl in 1996.
During his first two seasons, Sanders coached the winner of Heisman Trophy Travis Hunter and sons Shero Sedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders. He also trained a trio in Jackson. All three are following a professional football career, and Sherdeur and Hunter are expected to be in the first round in April NFL draft.
