“Super excited about him. I couldn’t be more proud of him. We talked the whole off -season time while we were practicing together, just how to become a number 1 choice, how to come, what you have to do outside the field.
Like Parsons, Carter wore number 11 in Penn State, which is a badge of honor.
Similar to number 7 on LSU, or to hold on to Parsons’ knowledge, no. 88 with cowboys, the number is given to a player that the school and the last representative feels worthy.
“They talk about the guys they think about, but you have to show why you get it. It’s not something that will just give.” Said Parsons.
The tradition of the number at the school begins with Lavar Arrington and was performed by Narorro Bowman.
Not to discredit these guys, but Parsons and Carter are both in another stratosphere, and that’s why Parsons thinks that this number could be waiting for some time, since anyone is next, has huge shoes that need to be filled.

Parsons is one of the best defensive players in the game. He also tries to become one of the best rowers players outside. Recently, he partnered with P&G for his “Battle of Rowers”.
“They knew I was just a guy with a family background, a rowers, I just got to compete to show that I was the best on or off the field,” Parsons said. “Every time I have the opportunity to report a star, Penn State, who I’m off the field, I’m just a big child who likes to have fun. I get a football aspect, but I like to fight some of the best.”
