The new signing of Manchester United Patrick Dorga revealed that the reputation and style of the main coach Ruben convinced him to join the club.
Dorga sealed the January move from Lecce for the initial £ 25m, at the top of accessories, one of two defensive recruits in the middle season, along with former Arsenal Academy Talent Ayden Heaven talent.
The 20-year-old Danish International was rated by one of Serie A, moving to Italy from the Danish club Nordsjaelland at the age of 17, one of the brightest talents of Serie A.
In his first an interview with the club media, Dorga described Manchester United As a “huge club” and “greatest in England”, before expressing admiration for Amorim and his playing style.
“I’m really looking forward to working with the new manager Ruben,” he revealed. “I feel that this will suit me very well, so I’m excited to be here. I only heard good things about him.”
Dorg is expected to be installed as the left side of the wings in the Amorim system, but Luke Shaw has not yet returned to full speed, and Tyrell Malacia near the loan in PSV Eindhoven. This will further release Diogo Dalot to return its stronger side on the right side.
Dorga is also versatile enough to play on the right, quite often by taking that position for Lecce so far this season. His arrival even means that Shaw, once appropriate, or noousair mazraoui could function as the third central back to help in compensation Lisandar Martinez’s season injury.
The player is also supported as a physical and mentally strong individual.
“I think I’ll bring a lot of intensity and physical abilities on the field,” he said. “A lot of energy and running.
“For me, [mindset] is the most important thing because there is a lot to talk about football and around football, and you really have to be strong outside football.
“When I was in Italy, I lived alone. Of course, my family visits me a lot, but you need to be really good mentally to stay focused and concentrated on football.”
