On Monday, the French court declared film director Christophe Ruggia guilty of sexual abuse of actress Adéle Haenel when she was a child in what is considered a significant trial #metoo for the French cinema industry. Ruggia, who denied any injustice, was sentenced to two years in home custody with an electronic bracelet plus a two -year -old suspended sentence.
