Carney Chukwuemeka leaves Chelsea on loan
Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuek was joined by Borussia Dortmund loanCompleting the 2025/26 campaign in the Bundesliga while it looks like he will bring his career back on the right path.
Chukwuemeka was the price of a reported £ 40 million earlier in the transition window, and Chelsea ideally sought permanent sale. However, a loan agreement with Dortmund involves the possibility of buying at the end of the season, with some reports suggest that the fee could be installed slightly higher than the release clause.

21-year-old England Junior International hired Chelsea 2022 as part of the club strategy to move as many young talent as possible. He made 15 appearances in his debut campaign and was still a teenager, but missed most of last season for injury.
There was no new start from his return to Fitness, and was regularly neglected by the manager of Enzo Maresca and failed to make a bench in the Premier League, relying on the conference league for all except one of his five appearances so far this season.
Dortmund is not foreign to employ an English talent. Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham are the most prominent examples, and the former return to the club on loan last season.
The current star Jamie Gittens also moved from Manchester City Academy in 1620. The 20-year-old is Dortmund’s second scorer in all competitions, with 11 goals for his name.
