Brighton Sign Teenage Star Stefanos Tzimas


Brighton has signed Greece under the age of 21, Stefanos Tzimas at a five -year -old Nurnberg agreement.

Timas will spend the rest of the season on loan in Nurnberg as part of the Agreement with the Club 2. Bundesliga, who took advantage of his opportunity to sign a PAOK salon player before selling it to Brighton.

Fabian Hurzeler said: “Stefanos is an exceptional young talent, aimed at the environment with the natural ability to score goals, and we are absolutely delighted to have signed it.

“He will join us in the summer, on the eve of next season, but we really look forward to working with him and feel that we have a very exciting future for us.”

Tzimas scored 10 goals in 17 league appearances this season, and Brighton technical director David Weir believes that the development of a 19-year-old will be better than staying in Germany for now.

Weir said: “He will spend the second half of the season with Nurnburg, who has given him an excellent opportunity this season to continue his development in Bundesliga 2.

“We will follow his progress and wish him all the best for the second half of the season with Nurnberg.”
