Minnesota man charged with holding a girlfriend against his will, beat, threw boiling water on her

The woman was treated at the hospital burn unit with “strong, exhausted burns on her face, weapons and torso,” police said.
She also had a stab wound on her left lower leg, had a swollen face and was unable to open the right eye and couldn’t wear a hospital dress because she “stuck in her open wounds, which caused her pain when she moved,” police said ‘
The victim later told the police that Junior and another man abducted her from Chicago in November and forced her to have sex for money with many men.
Police said they had a hard time remembering everything, but she said that Junior was her boyfriend and that he had repeatedly beat her and burned her with boiling water from January 27 to January 29.
She said she was planning to stay overnight in a junior apartment on January 27, but he became violent after he became jealous.

At one point, the victim tried to escape from the apartment, but the junior managed to stop. Later that night, Junior took her to the Wabasha bridge across the Mississippi River and encouraged her to jump before they eventually returned to the apartment.

The next day, the victim was planning to go to Chicago, but Junior picked up his bus ticket and refused to allow her to leave.
Junior went through the cycles of “hot and cold” behavior in which he brutally attacked her at one point before being well happy and caring for wounds in another, the victim said.
When the victim tried to leave again, the junior poured another pot of boiling water on her.
29 January, the victim reported that she woke up to the younger, throwing boiling water on her from the pan. The victim said he threw boiling water three to four times over a few days.
She could not see from the right eye due to extensive injuries.
The woman said that Junior took her to a bus stop near Wabashe and Fillmore, called 911 and allowed her to talk to the dispatcher. Junior told the victim that he was lying about what had happened to her before running into his apartment when he heard the sirens.
The victim also said that the junior had cleared his apartment to put down the evidence.
She said she was afraid of her life if he had not been arrested.
Police received a search order for a younger apartment after talking to the victim.

The apartment seemed clean, but the police still found fresh hair clips, the pots that fought what the victim described as what the junior once rejected boiling water on her and gray tracksuits with dark red spots on the upper right of the thighs.
