Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he had sent his army with mass forces around Gaza’s belt and threatened to continue the “intensive fight against” against Hamas if the Palestinian militant group failed to release Israeli hostages on Saturday on Saturday.
Netanyahu’s ultimatum on Tuesday followed Hamas’s announcement that he was postponing “until further” planned playing three hostages on Saturday in protest because of the alleged Israeli violations of the United States Agreement.
US President Donald Trump on Monday set a deadline for the publication of “All” of Israeli hostages that Hamas still holds in Gaza.
It was not immediately clear whether Netanyahu’s ultimatum, which followed the meeting of his safety cabinet, was applied to the planned release of three Israeli hostages or a larger number of prisoners.
