Six Nations 2025: Jamie George returns to England in front of the French conflict at the Allianz Stadium | News of rugby
Former Captain Jamie George returned to English training on the eve of Saturday’s conflict with six nations with France.
Hooker – replaced the English skipper Maro ITOJE – suffered a knee injury during the match for his Saracens club, which threatened to exclude it from six nations.
After losing 27-22 in Ireland in Dublin in her first match, England faces another challenging task, when French Antoine Dupont travels to the Allianz Stadium on February 8th.
George, who has 97 caps for his country, will be welcomed with 35 players training and will cause Lukea Cowan-Dickie and Theo Day for a place in today’s match 23.
Cowan-Dickie started against Ireland and performed well until England fell after it opened half an hour.
The day in the second half entered as part of a bench that had little influence.
England has now lost seven consecutive matches against opposition.
