Winmau World Masters: Luke Humphories wins the title in deciding his legs after rejecting the amazing Jonny Clayton, the fight to fight | News Darts
Luke Humphries retained the amazing fight from Jonny Clayton to win the renewed World Masters Winmau in the shooting, he decided and asked for his seventh main title.
Humphories opened a 5-2 lead to move one set from a victory in Milton Keynes, only for Clayton to gather to 5-5, and then break the world no. 1 in the next leg.
However, Humphories – who missed the match in the bull in the 10th set before Clayton knocked the D19 to ensure that it would be 11. – it immediately broke down.
The Cool hand then hit the headlines for the title and the top 100,000 pound prize after Clayton cracked the 120 finish and did not give himself a view of the match.

Clayton beat the world champion Littler 4-2 in the quarterfinals 4-2 before seeing the extraordinary Dimitri Van Den Bergh 5-2 in the semifinals.
Humphries fought from 2-0 to Danny Noppert 5-2 defeat in the semifinal–hell, in which he missed his first four attempts at a double-last one past Damon Het 4-1 in the last eight earlier in the afternoon.
Humphries will draw attention to the start night of the Premier League in Belfast on Thursday – Live on Sky Sports – after his victory on nervous jerks over Clayton.
He said ITV After his masters triumphed, “I am lucky … I was lucky there. I started to feel nerves.
“When I was 5-2 and I missed the couples, I tried too hard. As soon as she passed 5-5, I thought the game may have left for me.
“Jonny scored so well. It was a really tough game. I played well in patch, but Jonny was sometimes dominant.
“To win trophies like these are amazing and to share the stage with Jonny is a privilege. I am during the month.
