Half of the second half from Jean-Philippe Mateta earned Crystal Palace a well-deserved 2-0 victory in Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
PalaceIn many ways, they are an ideal team. Oliver Glasner’s well-drilled 3-4-3 are pleasing without a ball, threatening in transition and boasting of air courage to make any of the team a problem from the set pieces, let alone one as a comical incompetent in defense of the dead balls as United.
The visitors took the lead in the 64th minute from a famous route to goal. After the fun first half with the chanses for both sides of which most fell for the yellow interlopera-mateet, the palace eavesdropped in front of a well-treated free kick.
United’s attempts to withdraw at the level were accentuated by the long -term stop at the treatment of Lisandar Martinez, who had to be stretched out, but the hosts did not have a response to Mateta the other afternoon.
Daniel Munoz interrupted United’s attempt to trap in the offsid trap in the 89th minute, running completely without an opponent into the criminal box before he stood on his French teammate to touch the Palace into unusual leadership.
Sunday’s gloomy defeat was United’s fifth loss of the last six Premier league Old Trafford matches – a fact that is not lost on an impressed house. Palace, which has been undefeated from home in the league since October, skipped United to move to 12th place on the table.
