It’s been over a decade since the legendary Indian Crket Sachin Tendulkar played his last international match. Tendulkar retired from the 2013 International Crown after playing a test match against West Indies at his home ground at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Recently, Tendulkar opened in the moments of his last international match that will always be in his memory. The 51-year-old revealed that the Indian team, led by the captain at the time, decided to do something special in her farewell match.

Sachin Tendulkar was awarded the BCCI Award CK Nayud Lifetime Achievement during the annual Naman Awards. He received the award from the President of the ICC, former BCCI secretary Jay Shah in Mumbai.
After receiving the award, Tendulkar gave a speech in which he remembered the moments of his farewell. He considered happy that he testified to those moments as the team was preparing to do something for the legend after the fall of the ninth WICKET for West Indies.
“Without a word, when it comes to those moments; these moments are never planned. I think it’s a story written from above. Honestly, when I look back, it’s really hard for me to believe that all these things happened in my life,” he said Tendulkar.
“I consider myself extremely happy, and the last moment when the whole team planned to do something for me and celebrate the ninth Wickket, we celebrated that,” he added.
