Pakistani Cricket (PCB) board has finally announced a 15-member team for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. PCB and selectors have made some questionable and controversial decisions, including the selection of Faheem Ashrafa, Fakhara Zamana and Saud Shakeel in the team with 15 members for the upcoming prestigious tournament.
Pack selectors omitted the growing striker Saim Ayub because PCB did not want to risk his recovery from ankle injury, and the type of abdullah shafique dough placed Babar Azam as an opener.

A member of the National Committee for Selection of Asad Shafiq said: “Fakhar’s opening partner could be Babar Azam or Saud Shakeel, depending on different factors such as the conditions, opposition and match strategy.”

Overall, PCB has made four changes in the team with 15 players from their last game series in South Africa. Abdullah Shafique, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Saim Ayub and Sufyan Moqim replaced Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah and Saud Shakeel.
Interestingly, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf and Fakhar Zaman are the only members of the last Pakistan at the 2017 ICC ICC ICC. The Pace Attack contains Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afidi, Mohammad Hasnain and our Shah, while Abrar Ahmed will lead a spin attack on the upcoming ICC tournament compared to 50.

Mohammad Rizwan (C), Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah, Salman Ali Agha, Usman Khan, Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Najeem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afidi, Kamran Ghulam, Saud Shakeel, Tayyab Tahir, Faheem Ashraf.
The same team will play in the Tri-National Series to go against New Zealand and South Africa in Lahore and Karachi, ahead of The Champions Trophy 2025. PCB also confirmed that AAQIB JAVE will continue its role of temporary side trainer for the upcoming tasks.
Eight of eight nations will start on February 19 in Karachi and men at Green have taken over New Zealand at the tournament opener. Men in Green will then head to Dubai for a long -awaited conflict against India on February 23, followed by their last group match against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi 27 February 27 February 27.
