Jaime Munguia will merge with coach Eddy Reynoso to take over him as his new coach after an upset defeat from the fifth round of the little famous Bruno Surace last December.
Talent deficiency
This is a meaningless, futile move on Munguia’s part because Eddy Reynoso is not a magician who will magically give him a talent that does not exist. It’s like remodeling deck chairs on a sinking ship. Reynoso can’t save him.
Munguia (44-2, 35 ko) starts from Erik Mošales, captain of his sinking ship, in his knockout defeat of Surace on December 14 in Tijuana, Mexico. Morales did the best he could with Munguia, but could not block Surace’s shots like Kobre.

Most would agree Canelo never had to give munguia The title was recorded based on three super medium -sized victories after moving to 168 in 2023. Munguia looked terrible against Derevyanchenko, barely beat the narrowly unanimous decision in the 12th round of June 10, 2023.
Munguia has lost two of her last three struggles from moving to 168, and looks like it does not belong to this weight class. Not that he washed. This is more the case that Munguia lacks a talent to be one of the main players in 168. He has never been such a good fighter from starting.
