In the last development, according to reports in India Times, it is learned that Sairaj Bahutule had stepped down from his role. Former India and Mumbai’s leg Spinner will serve longer as a bowling coach at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengalur.
Bahutule stepped down from the role of bowling coach at BCCI’s excellence in Bengaluru for “personal reasons”. This comes in the midst of the current T20I series in five matches between the Indian National Cricket team and the England National Crickket team.

Bahutule joined the National Academy of Cricket as a bowling coach in November 2021 and has since done a lot of good things for the Indian national cricket team. The former Mumbai Spinner worked at a wide level and helped many young players in BCCI COE.

Bahutule also served for a short time as a bowling coach of the Indian National Cricket Team after the 2024 World Cup. This was because the appointment of the Morne Morkel was delayed for a bowling coach, and he fulfilled his role during the white ball of the series against the National Crown Sri Lanka.
Bahutule confirms his resignation as a bowling coach
Bahutule also confirmed his resignation as a bowling coach at the center of excellence of BCCI. He said he had to decide for family reasons and expressed gratitude to the higher authorities for giving him the opportunity.
He said he thoroughly enjoyed my three -year term on NCA/COE. He concluded, saying that his services as a bowling coach would always be available for BCCI. In an interview with Indian times, he explained:

“Yes, I left Coe for personal/family reasons. I am grateful to the former secretary of BCCI, Jay Jay Shah, BCCI, Rahul Dravid (previous boss Coe) and VVS (Current Coe Chief) for giving me the opportunity to work with the best Indian spinners in all formats.
“I was with the teams of India/India and India under the age of 19 in at least 20 series/tour. I thoroughly enjoyed my three -year term on NCA/COE, and my services as a bowling coach will forever be available for The BCCI.”
Bahutule played two trials and eight ODO for India and took five hicks between 1997-2003. Former Mumbai player presented himself in 188 first class games, in which he took a whopping 630 shots and scored 6,176 rides.
