Dave Matthews pulls out of a concert for relief firefighter last because of a ‘critical’ family illness


Dave Matthews pulled out on Wednesday with stars on Wednesday at the last minute, stating “a critical disease in the family.”

“Due to the critical illness in the family, Dave Matthews unfortunately is unable to perform in the benefits of Fireaid and Musicres this week,” the Dave Matthews Band’s Instagram account said.

The concert will raise money for those affected Los Angeles fire.

The Musics Osopo of the Year concert, from which Matthews also pulled out, takes place on Friday and pays tribute Thanksgiving. The non -profit organization supports musicians with financial, personal and medical assistance.

The Fireaid concert was quickly assembled after the fire was devastated by several communities in Los Angeles earlier this month.

The composition also includes artists like Alanis Morissette, Billie Eilish, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, ReelJohn Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, without a doubt, Olivia Rodrigo, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Tate McRae and The Black Crowes.

Dave Matthews was supposed to perform with John Mayer at the Kia Forum exhibition.
