Arsenal sees £ 60m for Aston Villa Ollie Watkins
Arsenal bravely tried to sign the Aston villa attacker Ollie Watkins as the deadline for the transfer is approaching.
Mikel Arthte, a longtime fan of English International, has pushed the club to act on their interest in the 29-year-old attacker with Gunner who lacked a fit and a traditional striker.
Reports say the initial offer of Arsenal – which is believed to be around £ 60m – because Watkins was rejected, but is expected to return with an improved offer in an effort to provide his services before February 3.
Since three years have stayed at their contract at Villa Park, Watkins is still an integral part of the Unai Emery’s team.
However, the prospect of moving to the Emirates could like the attacker, who had previously spoke of his admiration for Arsenal and would immediately be challenging to win the Premier League title.
While he was in Brentford in 2020, Watkins said, “It’s a dream, one day playing for Arsenal. But, you know, it’s a long shot.”
