Alabama avoided a prisoner trapped in Buc-Ee’s in Texas with the help of technology
Law enforcement officials deserve the technology of registration tables to help in capturing prisoner in Alabama who escaped with custody and was captured more than 600 miles away at Buc-Ee’s in Texas.
Melissa police confirmed to Fox News Digital that they were successfully captured by Pierson McKinnley Anthony, 25, who was sought from Marion County, Alabama, after fled in custody.
Shortly before 5pm, on Sunday, January 26, officials said they were warned of a vehicle regarding Anthony’s escape after a camera from the herd marked him near BUC in Anna.
Once the police arrived in place, they said Anthony was leaving the BUC-EE parking lot, followed by a high-risk stop.
Officials said Anthony surrendered without an incident, and later it was revealed that the driver of the vehicle had too an active crime order to help with Anthony’s escape.
Both Anthony and the driver were taken into custody, and officials said they both stay in Collin County prison while waiting for extradition to Alabama.
Officials added that Anthony was also charged with a third -degree crime.
Melissa, which is about 65 miles from Fort Worth, It is more than 600 miles away from the prison from which Anthony fled to Alabama.
It was not immediately known for what Anthony’s original charges were and why he was in custody.
