Trump wants Egypt and Jordan to take over Palestinians

US President Donald Trump said he wanted Egypt and Jordan to take over Palestine from Gaza, which he described as a “place to demolish.”

In a phone call this weekend, Mr. Trump said he told Jordan’s King Abdullah: “I would like you to take over more, because I am currently watching the whole Gaza tape and that is a mess, it’s a real mess.” on Sunday.

Hamas vowed to oppose any such action, and the comments will probably be outraged by Palestinians in Gaza, who see the territory as their ancestral home.
