Chelsea chief Enzo Maresca admits that his side is in a difficult place, but he is convinced that his team can come out of their fall.
The Blues fell 3-1 in Manchester City on Saturday night, and the London club fell to sixth in the process.
It was their fifth loss of the campaign, the same amount as Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Brighton.
Noni Madueke initially put visitors after an error of Abdukodi Khusanov, but the hosts returned, with the goals of Josko Guardiol, Erling Haalanda and Phil Foden.
Maresca referred to the match, admitting that he was frustrated with missed chances.
He said: “The game started very well for us. We achieved the first one and we could score a second goal two or three times. The game would change completely. We were missing.
“The team was there, but in the last minutes we admitted 1-1. The second goal changed the game. Robert is the first [to admit] He knows he has to do better. Working hard by working every day [is the way to improve]. We try to talk to all of them.

“We are progressing. We are better than one or two months. These moments will make us better.
“We scored first and we could achieve the second and then against this team and these players, the game was always open. We acknowledged at the end of the first half, and then the second half was probably 50/50.
“When you admit yourself at the end of the first half, and the best way is to avoid it. Probably for me the game is different if we have achieved another.
“We have to be better, but also to play the way we play, we achieved the first and we could achieve the second. If we were able to achieve, the game could be very different for us.”
Maresca added that she knows that the city has quality players who can punish any opposition in the world.
And once again, the goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is after being captured in no land for another City.
“They have players who can change the game at any time.
“In my opinion, we are better than one to two months ago.
“Robert [Sanchez] Is the first aware of mistakes. I think the second goal has changed the mood.
