The worst performers of the session were Nayifat Finance Co (TADAWUL: ), which declined 3.75% or 0.58 points to trade at 14.88 at the close. Riyad REIT (TADAWUL:) declined 2.79% or 0.19 points to end at 6.61 and AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:) declined 2.31% or 0.90 points to 38.10.
On the stock exchange in Saudi Arabia, rising stocks outnumbered falling ones from 176 to 116, and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.19% or 0.14 to $71.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery was up 1.16% or 0.85 at $74.42 a barrel, while February gold futures were down 0.00% or 0.05 at 2,639.30 dollars per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR fell 0.16% to 3.91, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 3.76.
US dollar index futures rose 0.32% to 108.28.
