Thailand’s same-sex marriage law went into effect on Thursday, allowing Thai actors Apiwat “Porsch” Apiwatsayree and Sappanyoo “Arm” Panatkool to tie the knot. The couple, dressed in matching beige suits, received their pink-bordered certificates in Bangkok, making Thailand the largest Asian nation to recognize equal marriage rights, including for transgender people, and extend adoption and inheritance rights to all married couples.
