In the second T20I of England’s tour of India in July 2022, England found themselves all out for just 121 runs. None of their batsmen could score a half-century and they were quickly dismantled by the Indian bowlers. Bhuvneshwar Kumar he was an outstanding player, taking three crucial wickets and was named man of the match. India set a target of 170 runs after scoring 170/8 in their innings, and they won the game by a comfortable margin of 49 runs, leaving England in disarray.

3. India’s poor performance at Eden Gardens (October 2011 – 120/9)
India’s performance in the only T20I on their tour of England in October 2011 was remembered for their disastrous total of 120/9. The match was played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, where India could not go against the English bowlers. England’s saddest T20I game against India came in the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2012when they were bowled out for a record low total of just 80 runs in a group stage match. This is still England’s lowest ever T20I score, and it was against India. The English batsmen had no answer to the deadly spin attack Harbhajan Singhwho took four doors in his spell. Singh’s brilliant performance earned him the man of the match award. India, who posted a total of 170 runs in their innings, won the match by a huge margin of 90 runs, leaving England with little to show in terms of fight.
