Media accuses Elon Musk of ‘fascist salute’ at Trump’s rally
Liberal media accused Elon Musk of giving a “fascist salute” at President Trump’s inauguration rally on Monday.
“This is what victory feels like! And this was no ordinary victory, this was a fork in the road for human civilization … I just want to say thank you for doing this, thank you. From my heart to yours,” gushed Musk, 53. , he told a roaring crowd of MAGA faithful at Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. The SpaceX CEO reached out to the audience and placed his hand over his heart as he spoke.
CNN anchors Erin Burnett and Kasie Hunt played a clip of the gesture and appeared to insinuate that Musk had just given a Nazi salute.
“That salute was evocative of things we’ve seen throughout history,” Hunt said.

Burnett called Musk’s “weird greeting” gesture.
“It’s not something you usually see at American political rallies,” Hunt continued.

The PBS News Hour ran a post on X that said the Tesla CEO “gave what appeared to be a fascist salute.”
“I never imagined we would see the day when what looks like a Heil Hitler salute would be done behind the presidential seal,” Rep. Jerry Nadler posted on X.
The Jerusalem Post wrote: “US billionaire Elon Musk appeared to give a Heil Hitler salute at the Trump parade in Washington DC on Monday, following Trump’s inauguration.”
In November 2023, the tech billionaire took a highly publicized trip to Israel where he toured the carnage that followed the October 7 Hamas terror attacks. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged him to crack down on anti-Semitism at X during his visit.

However, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) issued a statement defending Musk, saying he made “an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute.”
“At this point, all sides should give each other some grace, maybe even give each other the benefit of the doubt and breathe a sigh of relief,” the statement said.
