Arsenal are exploring a move for the “monster” striker
Since the January transfer window opened a few weeks ago, Arsenal unsurprisingly they have been linked with a host of centre-forwards.
Gunners are well known interested in signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle United. Who didn’t? Wolves Matheus Cunha was also an option for Mikel Arteta before news broke of a new deal at Molineux.
So who could the Gunners turn to next? Summer target Benjamin Sesko is once again on the club’s radar, as is Juventus’ powerhouse Dušan Vlahvoić who could be available after the Serie A side brought in PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani. Sports sensation And Viktor Gyokeres continues to connect.
Isak, of course, would be the number one choice if money were no object. It is thought to be valued at around £150 millionhe is one of the most in-form strikers on the planet he scored 11 goals in the last ten matches.
Šeško, 21 years old, would be another good option at a much cheaper price according to some reports the price is around 70 million pounds. However, there is one player we haven’t mentioned, who could be a better move than the Slovenian.
Arsenal are exploring a move for a new striker
Arteta’s team is particularly weak on the pitch as we enter the end of January.
Raheem Sterling was the only senior striker on the bench for the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa and it was telling that he was the only option the manager was looking at in an attempt to turn the game around.

Mega money deals, controversial moves and big name failures. This is the home of transfer news and opinion across the Football FanCast.
Don’t worry about that, the Gunners simply have to sign a new striker this month or risk a disastrous end to the season.
Well, inside Victor Osimhenthey could bring in one of the best strikers in the world. Indeed, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke, Arsenal are now “exploring a move” for the Nigerian this month.
Osimhen had £113m release clause amid rumors of a move to Chelsea last summer, but that deal did not materialize and in order to escape from Napoli, he moved to Galatasaray on a long contract.
His Naples contract was amended to include a lower release clause of £67m but it is not known at this stage whether Arsenal want to bring the player in permanently.
Why Victor Osimhen would be a good signing for Arsenal
Speaking of 2023. Sky Italia’s Filippo Benincampi had the following to say: “He destroys the Italian league because the pace is a bit slower, but in the Premier League with all that pace, speed, qualities and mentality – I think he will be perfect.”
Well, that certainly bodes well, doesn’t it? It is also said that ‘one of the best strikers in the world‘ by Mark Doyle and GOAL the “monster” of data analyst Ben Mattinsonthere aren’t many better in European football at finding the net.
Indeed, over the last few seasons, he is not too far behind some of the continent’s best and interestingly, he is ahead of Isak, the player Arsenal fans are clamoring for to sign with the Gunners.

So if we’re judging things by goals alone, then Haaland is unsurprisingly the best striker in Europe.
However, the place of Osimhen in Premier League and you would have a player very capable of competing with him for the best in the English Premier League.
Although he hasn’t played as much football as some of his competitors around the world, his goals per 90 minutes are incredibly close to Robert Lewandowski and Arsenal nemesis Harry Kane. It’s not a bad read at all, is it?
It will come as no shock to hear that he is also ahead of Arsenal’s other target, Sesko. Here’s how the two compare over the last 18 months of football.

Looking at the data above, Sesko seems to be the more versatile talent at this stage, producing more attacks, winning more aerial battles and having a higher on target percentage.
In addition, when it comes to the two factors by which a forward is traditionally evaluated, goals and assists, it is Osimhen who leads the way. Combine that with things you don’t see here either (physicality) and you’d probably expect the Galatasaray loanee to outperform Cesko.
Crucially, he also has experience on his side and has featured regularly in the Champions League over the past few seasons.
Although the potential of the talent from Leipzig is huge, Arsenal must win the title now, and signing Osimhen – their rival to Haaland – instead of Cesko could just be the catalyst for that.
