Predicted candidates for the winner of the Women’s Premier League

As the teams prepare for the WPL 2025, cricket pundits and connoisseurs have started weighing in on who could emerge as the top seed. Former Indian national team player Veda Krishnamurthy placed her bets on Delhi Capitals (DC) to win the tournament, citing the impressive form of their Indian players, both in the domestic and international circuits.

“Looking at the teams, I really like Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi, but there seems to be an injury concern for RCB. Well, they have to understand that. I kind of feel this year could be Delhi’s year, with the way their Indian players are playing, especially after good domestic and international performances,” Veda quoted Sportskeed.

On the other hand, Parthiv Patelin the same show, according to RCB, after winning their first trophy in 2024, they could retain their title again, despite the challenge of back-to-back wins.

“It is extremely difficult to win the title in two consecutive years. However, early predictions will have to be made. I feel RCB will be good this year and they could win the tournament again this year,” Parthiv considered.
