‘The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen’ – fans freak out as Weverse magazine releases teaser for BTS’s upcoming j-hope interview, sparking speculation about new project
On December 23rd, South Korean social media app Weverse released a teaser of their upcoming interview with BTS’ j-hope to be featured in its Weverse magazine. The 20-second black-and-white teaser included several close-ups of the BTS member wearing multiple snake rings on his fingers.
BTS j-hope’s teaser soon went viral on the internet as fans speculated about the idol’s future project announcement in an upcoming interview.
Consequently, fans have flooded the internet with their anticipation and enthusiasm for his eagerly awaited return after completing his military training in October this year.

Many other fans have thrown out their guesses online. While some said that BTS’ j-hope would announce his new album in the interview, others expected a world tour.
“Omggggggggggg theory: there will be indirect spoilers in this interview and you won’t know until much later,” a fan speculated.
“Okay, I connected some dots, seokjin’s wv mag was sexy and he was happy, and we got an album where he is happy and extremely sexy…so evil hobby’s new album will be…snake related …that means …Oh,” another fan commented.
“Album announcement at midnight December 24th????,” the fan stated.
“My baby my love my superstar is BAAACK!!!!!THE WORLD TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT IS COMING I KNOW,” a fan wrote.
Seeing several rings with snakes on his fingers in the latest Weverse teaser, some have said that j-hope’s new BTS album is possibly related to snakes.
“Hobi’s new album is about to have something to do with the snake in the title, huh? Cobra? A king cobra? Snakes in the grass? Serpentine? SOMETHING. It even has snake rings…” another fan commented.
“YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE IS COMING. NEW ALBUM AND WORLD TOUR. A REAL CLOWN NATION,” a fan wrote.
“the way i’m losing my breath before my first time on this he’s announcing a tour thank god he hasn’t (yet)” another fan stated.
Rumors of a new BTS j-hope album were circulating in November 2024
On November 15, 2024, Korean media outlet Naver announced that BTS’ j-hopefully will release an album before the group’s comeback in 2025. Rumors started when a news outlet published a report on HYBE Labels stock values.
According to the report, the entertainment company’s stock prices were expected to rise with the imminent release of the BTS member Kim Seokjinsolo debut album, HAPPYand j-hope’s second album before the group’s comeback in the second half of 2025.
Earlier on October 17, BTS’s j-hope officially completed his 18-month military service, having enlisted in the army in April 2023.
Shortly after his departure from serviceappeared as the first pitcher for the 2024 Korean Series Game on October 23, 2024. This marked his first public appearance after his military discharge.
