Team news confirmed as Magpies chase record 10th straight win
Newcastle host Bournemouth to kick off the Premier League weekend with a crucial clash between the European contenders.
Both sides have been on impressive runs this season, with the in-form Magpies winning their last nine games in all competitions in a run that has taken them into the top four. A 10th straight win would be a club record for the Geordies.
Andoni Iraola’s Cherries are also surprise contenders for a place in Europe this season and are looking to preserve their 10-match unbeaten run.
