Both sides have been on impressive runs this season, with the in-form Magpies winning their last nine games in all competitions in a run that has taken them into the top four. A 10th straight win would be a club record for the Geordies.
Andoni Iraola’s Cherries are also surprise contenders for a place in Europe this season and are looking to preserve their 10-match unbeaten run.

Eddie Howe named an unchanged side from the XI that beat Wolves 3-0 on Tyneside.
Defender Fabian Schar is back among the substitutes after recovering from illness and the suspension that saw him miss the last three games.

There are two changes for the visitors, with goalkeeper Kep Arrizabalaga returning to the side after being unable to face parent club Chelsea in Wednesday’s 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
