Kid Rock cheats on Michelle Obama because he doesn’t plan to attend Trump’s inauguration
Music legend Kid Rock has blasted former first lady Michelle Obama for not planning to attend President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, saying she “seems a little angry.”

Kid Rock, who will perform at the inauguration on January 20, said Obama should attend out of “respect for the presidency.”
“I would have kindly reminded her of that a few years ago [Barack] Obama was elected the first time, I didn’t vote for him, but they asked me to play at the inauguration, I played and I went,” Rock told “Jesse Watters Primetime” Thursday night, recalling a “good time” regardless of politics.

“So I would kindly remind Miss Michelle of that,” Kid Rock continued, noting that he attended former President Barack Obama’s inauguration out of respect for the presidential process.
According to new reports, the former first lady is skipping Trump’s inauguration rather than having to allegedly cover up her disdain for the incoming president. Furthermore, sources close to Michelle Obama to speculate that her absence had to do with an act of resistance or that she was “saving some credibility” by avoiding Trump, according to a report by The Hill.

Obama has a history of expressing disdain for Trump. Before the 2024 election. she asked him out at the Democratic National Convention for “doubling down on ugly misogyny, racist lies as a substitute for real ideas and solutions that will actually make people’s lives better.”
Currently, former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, along with their spouses and former first ladies, are scheduled to attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

This absence will mark the second major event Michelle Obama has missed in the past two weeks. She did not attend the former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral in Washington DC last week. Trump attended the funeral together with Barack Obama.
In addition to calling out Michelle Obama’s absence, Kid Rock expressed his own excitement for the inauguration ceremony, calling the incoming president “a great guy.”

“We need someone who will make reasonable decisions,” he said and added. “I want someone smart who can run this country, protect us, run it like a business and make America great again.”
