Can Man Utd get relegated?
Defeat in their last Premier League outing against Brighton left Ruben Amorim claiming that the current Red Devils team was the worst side in the club’s historywhile they are in 13th place in the first league.

With just 26 points at this stage, relegation remains a possibility, although actually highly unlikely, with the Red Devils still 10 points behind Ipswich Town, who currently sit last in the relegation zone.
January seems unlikely to bring major changes, with the focus largely on departures this month as the club look to balance their books. Tyrell Malacia is free to go on loanwhile Marcus Rashford is frozen and is likely to leave before the end of the transfer window or risk not playing football for six months.
Otherwise, Alejandro Garnacho is the subject of heavy speculation amid links to Serie A giants Napoli, who are looking to replace Khvicha Kvaratskheli this month, with some reports even claiming The Argentine has agreed personal terms regarding his departure from Old Trafford. Meanwhile, another Man Utd striker appears to have played his last game for the club this season.
Manchester United agreed to a loan, but without a buyout clause
It comes after Fabrizio Romano revealed the Manchester United striker Antony is ready to end his loan at Real Betis after failing to impress Ruben Amorim but will return to the club this summer as there is no buy option/clause in his contract.

Although the £86m signing still has two and a half years to run on his mammoth A £200,000-a-week deal at Old Trafford there is now a “verbal agreement between all parties” for him to go to La Liga for the second half of the season. The club missed the chance to move him for good and introduce a fee, which would have helped fund new business.

Antony will return to Manchester at the end of the campaign with two years left on his contract, and while Amorim clearly plans to look elsewhere in attack, the longer his contract runs out, the harder it will be for INEOS to secure decent fee money from his exit.
Will Manchester United manage to find a club willing to offload the 24-year-old’s hefty wages for good this summer?
