Fujitsu, Resona Bank and Saitama Resona Bank Launch New Web Service to Simplify Home Buying Process Investing.com
Kawasaki, Tokyo and Saitama, Japan, January 15, 2025 – (JCN Newswire) – – Fujitsu Limited and Resona Group companies Resona Bank, Limited and Saitama Resona Bank, Limited today announced the launch of a new web service designed to support customers in their buying a house. The service is now available to customers of Resona Bank and Saitama Resona Bank. This development leverages Resona Grupa’s home loan expertise and Fujitsu’s internal and external best practices in digital transformation (DX). Fujitsu, primarily through its dedicated, collaborative BizDevOps team, supported the service from idea to product planning, piloting and development.
Background of service development
Buying a home is a major life event, and the pressure to secure a property can often lead to hasty decisions based on incomplete information, and in some cases, even buyer’s remorse. This newly developed web service helps customers make informed decisions from the earliest stages of their home search, even before applying for a mortgage, ensuring a satisfying purchase.
The first service of its kind in Japan to visualize, organize and compare the preferences of partners when buying apartments
While there are numerous home buying assistance tools, none offer a comprehensive solution for clarifying individual preferences and facilitating shared decision-making between partners. The new service provides a unique one-stop platform for visualizing, organizing and comparing preferences, making the home buying process smoother and more collaborative. Key features include:
1. Clarification of common preferences of couples
This feature allows couples to share and compare their desired home specifications, including amenities, interior design and layout, ensuring both partners feel satisfied with their final selection.
2. Discovery (NASDAQ: ) Common Preferences
Using this feature, couples can record their preferences and observations for each room while viewing the property, noting details about the kitchen, bathroom and other areas.
3. Display of ranking
This function calculates an overall score based on the information from the first two functions, displaying the properties in order of preference. This simplifies the comparison process and helps couples quickly identify homes that best meet their needs.
