‘True Romance’ actor slams Newsom for ‘Trump-proofing’ state amid LA fires
Actor Michael Rapaport went further California Governor Gavin Newsom ua video on Tuesdaytelling the democrat “no more mistakes for you, you’re done!”
The “Murder Only in a Building” actor said “Gavin with the good hair, Newsom” was talking about “Trump Check” California when it should have been focused on “fire protection” for the state.
“You talk about Trump this, Trump that. He’s not even president,” the 54-year-old said in a video he posted on Instagram as Wildfires in Southern Californiathat burned thousands of homes, entered the second week.

Rapaport has also been critical of Trump in the past, but said Vice President Kamala Harris lost her vote in the 2024 election to Israel.

“Get out of here!” he said of Newsom. “‘Next time we’ll do better. We have to learn from our mistakes,'” he scoffed.
“No more mistakes for you, you’re done!”
“You’re not running for sixth-grade class president, he added,” jokingly calling him “Nancy’s nephew,” referring to former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “Those days are over.”

“What a good old boy you’ve proved to be, you little bulls— artist,” he added.
Rapaport isn’t the first celebrity to call out Newsom amid the devastating Los Angeles fires.
last week, Mark Wahlberg his wife, Rhea Durham, strongly condemned his relaxed demeanor.
On Friday, model shared a deleted post on Instagram where she posted a photo of Newsom, standing with his hands in his pockets and laughing with a group of people at the Palisades Fire base camp in Malibu.
“Why is the governor of CA standing around laughing like he’s at the back door???” Durham wrote in the caption of her post.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Newsom’s director of communications, Izzy Gardon, said, “Anyone who has lived through a tragedy knows there are moments of lightness and moments of sadness, as the governor witnessed himself on the ground in Los Angeles over the past three days, meeting countless firefighters, emergency services and victims of this tragedy.”

Since the fires broke out last Tuesday, Newsom and Los Angeles officials have faced backlash from celebrities for their lack of preparation and response to the crisis.
