Amazon Prime Air is applying for an experimental license to help develop new radar systems for drones

Amazon wants to test new technology for an air traffic control system for its Prime Air delivery drones. Internal R&D tests in Seattle and Pendleton, Oregon, will use the 9.3-9.5 GHz wireless frequency band used by NASA and other federal agencies. Read more
