Jurgen Klopp has announced big news about the future of management


Former Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has ruled out running the club under the Red Bull umbrella, but has left the door open to taking over another team in the future.

Klopp ended his trophy-winning tenure as Liverpool manager last summer, announcing his surprise decision to step down due to fatigue. The open German challenged even more controversy when it was announced as head of global football for Red Bull’s vast football network, which includes Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, Austrian giants RB Salzburg and Leeds United.

Red Bull revealed the arrival of Klopp in October, but he did not officially take over until the first day of 2025. Liverpool The boss removed all rumors that he could enter the dugout of the RB equipment.

“I will not be the coach of the Red Bull team. That is a clear commitment,” said Klopp. “But I can’t say that I will never be a coach again in my life.”

“When you’ve been in business for 25 years, it’s super intense,” Klopp outlined. “The only thing is that I’m a very curious person and I couldn’t feed it anymore.

“It was just game after game after game after game. You maintain a certain level and I wasn’t very happy with that to be honest. I always want to try to learn new things and I felt when I heard about the role that this is what I would do.

“I no longer have to improve the game in individual places, but I want to make football better all over the world. No longer prepare a new game every week, but work on the bigger picture.”
