WWE star CM Punk kicked off “Monday Night Raw” by addressing the crowd in San Jose, California.
Before he began talking about his aspirations to come to WrestleMania 41 and beat Seth Rollins one more time, Punk gave a special shout out to the EMS and emergency personnel battling the fires in the Los Angeles area.

“Quick, before we get to CM Punk’s business, I have to say something real quick. I want to thank all the firefighters and emergency responders in the great state of California and everyone in the surrounding states who are sending everything to help fight this natural disaster, this fire,” he said. is Punk. “I’m talking about Canada, Mexico — people, we hear you, we appreciate you.”
The crowd at the SAP Center cheered when Punk then announced himself as one of the participants in the upcoming Royal Rumble match, which will take place on February 1st.
WWE was at the Intuit Dome a week ago for the debut of “Monday Night Raw” on Netflix. Punk defeated Rollins in the first main event of the new era.

The fires in Los Angeles started Tuesday afternoon as winds whipped through the area. Several fires broke out and quickly spread across the region.
More than two dozen people were killed in the destruction.
Officials warned earlier On Monday, the threat to the area did not end.
“We’re not clean. I want to make sure of that. We’re not clean yet and we can’t let our guard down,” Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said.

“With increasing winds ahead, the Los Angeles County Fire Department has maximized our resources and response capabilities,” Crowley added. “All available LAFD resources are at full capacity. I have engine and manpower strike teams strategically pre-positioned, dedicated to rapid response to any new fire that breaks out in the city.”
