Jefferies to Hold Global Trade Day on Jan. 16 to Support Los Angeles Fire Relief By Investing.com
NEW YORK & LONDON & HONG KONG–( BUSINESS WIRE )–Jefferies announced today that it will hold Global Trade Day on January 16, 2025 to raise funds for organizations that support first responders and those affected by wildfires .
On January 16, Jefferies will donate 100% of net global commissions for all equity and fixed income trading by the Firm’s clients. Jefferies will also make a $1 million donation and encourage its nearly 6,000 employees to personally support relief efforts. During the month following this Global Trade Day, contributions will be carefully distributed to qualified charities to ensure that proceeds go directly to support the people and communities most in need.
