Dushamntha Chameera’s beauty rips Kusal Perera apart
Chameera, known for his pace and accuracy, delivered a beauty to send his fellow Sri Lankan back to the pavilion. Scrambling across the wicket, Chameera bowled a good length ball that centered on the top of the off stump.
Perera, an aggressive left-handed batsman, failed to move his legs effectively and tried to defend with a slightly tilted bat. Unfortunately for him, the ball caught a thick inside edge and uprooted the leg stump. The Capitals happily celebrated, knowing they had secured the door of a key player.
This dismissal was a textbook example of superb fast bowling, leaving Perera no room for error. Chameera’s fiery opening spell set the tone for Dubai Capitals, who were looking to capitalize on the early progress.
