The agent is traveling for talks as Man Utd plot a move for the “excellent” £50m star
As Manchester United look to turn things under Reuben AmorimINEOS are reportedly set to hold talks with the defender’s agent who has starred under the new Red Devils boss in the past.
Man Utd transfer news
Those at Old Trafford managed to bridge the cracks with a well-deserved draw against Liverpool last time out in the Premier Leaguebut those cracks still remain. There’s no getting away from the scale of Amorim’s task, especially as Marcus Rashford approaches the exit door after being dropped by the new manager.
The Carrington graduate hasn’t featured since being dropped for the Manchester derby, in which Amad Diallo stole the show by grabbing three points in the dying embers. Now, with the January transfer window open, some of Europe’s biggest teams have reportedly acquired his services.

If the England international does leave, it seems that those at Old Trafford will look to use the funds to reunite Amor with a familiar face.
As reported by A Bola, reported by Sport Witness, INEOS is ready for talks with Goncal Inacio’s agent hoping to lure the defender to Manchester United and eventually trigger his €60m (£50m) release clause.

While Inacio’s agent travels for negotiations, the Red Devils will be looking for a deal across the border that they have eyed for some time. Previous reports suggested in November that INEOS were interested in the centre-back, who can also play as a left-back, and now it appears that interest will lead to negotiations.
The “excellent” Inacio would be the perfect signing for Amor
If Manchester United are to hit the ground running under Amorim, welcoming in a familiar face who knows exactly what it takes to fit right into the manager’s back three system could be the perfect addition.
Given his ability to fill in at left-back, the Red Devils could also kill two birds with one stone by bringing in a player who could finally ease their Luke Shaw woes.
Unsurprisingly, Inacio often found himself at the center of praise during his time under Amorim, with Football talent scout Jacek Kulig describing the 23-year-old as an “excellent centre-back” at the end of 2023.
At Anfield last weekend, Manchester United fans got a preview of what Amorim’s side are capable of under his leadership, and the arrival of Inacio would only increase the chances of such a performance becoming a permanent expectation.
