A group of street vendors are using the power of social media to bring the community together to help those affected by the ravaging wildfires in Arcadia, California.
Jimmy Medina Jr said the TikTok live stream helped him buy supplies and spurred generous donations.
“Through the power of TikTok, all our TikTok viewers have sent us donations… with their donations we can buy all the ingredients,” Mr. Medina Jr. said.
A donation center is set up in the Santa Anita Park parking lot, where volunteers help those in need
