Acting South Korean President Choi says financial markets should be monitored 24 hours a day Reuters


SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea’s acting president Choi Sang-mok said on Friday the government would make every effort to stabilize the economy and would monitor financial markets around the clock to act if necessary.

Choi, speaking at a meeting with the central bank chief and regulators, also said the government would continue to make efforts to increase the value of stocks.
