“It’s amazing,” Escarra said through New York Poston Sunday morning. “There is a lot of time. At first, I was grateful to be here and now my dreams come true. Now it’s an easy part. Now it’s just playing baseball on the biggest stage, so I’m excited about what is coming.”
Escarra added that he wasn’t much Crier, but it’s hard not when he knew his mother would react.

“I feel like I did everything on my part to show that I could help the team win. Thank God, the opportunity is here,” Escarra said.
Yankees open their regular schedule of the season at home in Bronx against Milwaukee Brewers. Escarra expects many friends and family to be available to witnesses the moment he debuts, which could come during that first series.
