Why is Harry Brook Ditch Delhi Capitals? Nasser Hussain makes a huge revelation

The English Vice President Harry Brook surprisingly decided to get out of the IPL 2025 season. The decision to get out just a few days before IPL surprised many. Former English captain Nasser Hussain talked about this issue and guessed the reason behind him.

Hussain believes that Harry Brook already has a lot on her plate because he is one of the few crickets for all formats for England. Since another Buttler gave up the captain, Brook is also considered a candidate for the role of the English captain of the white ball.

In the last few years, Brook has grown in the track and has turned into the main part in the hit department in all formats. However, his sudden exit from IPL came as a sudden shock to his fans.

Nasser Hussain reveals why Harry Brook pulled out

As he spoke to Sky Sports, Nasser Hussain speculated the reason why Harry Brook pulled out from the IPL 2025. He feels that Brook already has a lot on his plate and may have talked to US director Rob Key about England.

“I think it could be a sign (to withdraw from IPL 2025). Rob Key may have talked to him and said,” You’re a lot on your plate. Maybe we’ll want the captain. “Who knows? There is a lot on his plate, with a big nine months in India, a test series at home and then ashes,” Hussain said.

“He missed the last for personal family reasons. Maybe I just think I’ll focus on the cricket of the test match,” said the former England skipper.

England will play a test series with five matches against India at home from June 2025. Then he will travel to Australia for a series of guest appearances in ashes. Brook will probably play a key role in both series.

Nasser Hussain expects Harry Brook back to form

Nasser Hussain further claimed that Rob Key and Brook had already talked about the work load of the latter. He expects Brook to return to the rhythm soon since he rested from IPL.

“I would be surprised if Rob Key has not yet talked to him and asked what you think about his working load in the year ahead and that may have been a conversation. Only Rob Key and Harry Brook will know,” Hussain counts.

“But he rested and hope he will go back to the rhythm, find some shape, and he would be up and shoot for two absolutely vital test series,” former England Batter added.

Harry Brook pulls out of IPL 2025

Harry Brook got out of IPL for the second consecutive season. He was supposed to play for Delhi Capitals this season after a franchise was scored for INR 6.25 crore. Brook’s decision ECB transferred BCCI last week, which was then informed by Delhi Capitals.

There is a great opportunity to forbid Brook for two years to participate in IPL under the new IPL rules. IPL has yet to be done officially, but Brook has made it clear on social media that it takes a while to refresh himself from the hectic schedule.
