Thomas Tuchel is preparing to name their first team in England this month as three lions begin the journey to the 2026 World Cup.
During his temporary term, Lee Carsley introduced eight new faces on the team, but more fresh talent is expected under Tuchel’s guidance.
Since Gareth Southgate officially took over in January, the former Chelsea chief has been attending several Premier League matches, carefully assessing potential calls.

When will Tuchel announce his team in England?
The official team for the upcoming games against Albania and Latvia will be discovered on Thursday, March 13th.

What did the FA Mark Bullingham boss said?
Mark Bullingham, the executive director of the Football Federation, praised Tuchel’s commitment to his new role, noticing a key difference from his predecessor, Gareth Southgate – the German manager decided to settle in London and is a common presence in St. George’s.
“I think Thomas realized early on that you did not build these relationships in six days when you gather, so he put a lot of effort into it,” Bullingham said.
Tuchel was proactive in building relationships with his detachment, creating a long list of 55 players – including local and international stars – ensuring that they feel recognized and appreciated.
