But between the warm wishes, Trump’s tone moved, as he re -stated the case of Americans that US control of the competent Arctic Earth Mass was crucial to their national security.
“We need Greenland for national security and even international security, and we work with anyone involved to try to get it,” Trump said
“But we need it for international, for world security, and I think we’ll get it. In one way or another, we’ll get it,” he said.

“It is a very small population, but a very, very large piece of land. And very, very important for military security,” the president concluded before moving on to a separate topic.

Trump has focused on strategic importance of an island covered with a glacier for years, and he has repeatedly suggested that the United States should buy autonomous territory.
