Washington Mayor excludes a LGBTQ activist calling Pow/Mia flag “Political stunt”

AND mayor in Washington The state blew up on the LGBTQ activist after describing a city flying a prisoner/missing flag as a “political stunt” during a part of a public comment at the City Council meeting on Tuesday.
The exchange occurred at the end of the Newcastle City Council meeting between Mayor Robert Clark and a woman whose name is Jen. Newcastle is a suburb of Seattle.
Jen was the first person to speak after Clark opened a public comment on the public comment, and began by stating that she hoped that the mayor would support the pride’s flag “in the proclamation of this year”, since she also has a “newly -founded gratitude” for the flag American flag.

Last year, the City Council referenced the vote not to fly the flag of pride against the city councilor during the month of Pride, which was later transferred after public anger. At that time, Clark told the local point of sale of Komo that if the pride’s flag would fly, everyone’s flag should fly.
“Do you want Hamas’s flag flying over the city of Newcastle? Or Maga flag? What do you say on Trump’s flag or anti -infida flag? Don’t go there people there,” Clark said. “Everyone is equally represented by the American flag.”
Said Jen while “very supported” veterans, war prisoners and mias, She thinks the flying flag for war prisoners is “100 days a year political stunt.”
Jen then began to compare the population of American prisoners of war or Miases how many Americans fall under the LGBTQ community, suggesting that the flag of pride is more people.
“My research shows that there were 82,000 Americans who were registered as a prisoner of war or mias, which is awful and terrible, and that should never happen to any American, but there [are] 20 million minimum members of LGBTQ, “she said.

She then accused the members of the Council of hypocritical and fulfilling special interests by selecting the flag of the seafarer/Mia through the City Hall, not for the pride’s flag.
“I think your approach is to try to pull people out that they have to fly the pride’s flag in June, ensuring that the war prisoner/Mia flag/Mia flag is really disgusting. Again, this is not impartial, and I think I should be ashamed. I definitely did,” Jen said before she walked.
Her comments lit a fire under the mayor, who said he usually did not respond to a public comment, but he “will not sit here and someone tells me that veterans are a political stunt.”
Some could hear themselves in the audience as Clark shot at the woman, adding, “How dare you?”

“This country was founded because the veterans lost their lives. Hundreds of thousands of people died for this country so you could fly for the pride flag,” Clark said as she watched in her direction.
He apologized for being “angry” and “out of line,” but warned her “never belittled veterans in my presence.”
“You 82,000 people who never returned home will never have the opportunity to have a family or grow up while you can Fly your pride’s flag, “ he said. “They have sacrificed their lives all over the world for America and for freedom around the world.”

The mayor seemed to be aware of Jena’s opinions, stating that she “tolerates” her comments, despite being “on attack” and “fake”.
“I tolerate it because, you know, you probably can’t help yourself, but never disparage veterans in front of me,” he said as someone in the audience could hear him trying to talk.
“Never belittle the veterans in front of me,” Clark repeated.
“We’re done,” he said before he opened under the next speaker.
