Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) Wickeket-Batter Phil Salt showering praise by veteran dough Virat Kohli on the eve of the IPL 2025. England that opens the dough described the former Indian skipper as a good man from the field and super competitors during the matches.
Phil Salt played a key role in a victory at Knight Riders (KKR) in Kolkuta (KKR) 2024. The 28-year-old formed an awesome duo of opening with Sunil Narine, scoring 435 runs in 12 games on an average of 39.54 and an impressive strike from 182, but did not retain traffic from IPL.

Phil Salt Eyes Good IPL 2025 campaign after a disappointing champion trophy
Phil Salt will aim at the strong IPL 2025 campaign after a disappointing exit into the 2025 champion trophy, where he only succeeded in 10, 12 and 8 rides while opening for England. The team ended in the tournament without a victory.
The successful IPL season could strengthen his case for a place in England. Salt joined his national teammates Jacob Bethell and Liam Livingstone at Royal Challengers Bengalur. RCB, still in search of their maiden IPL title after three ending, will be eager to interrupt its drought trophy this year.

Virat Kohli is the highest runner in the history of IPL and the only dough that surpassed 8,000 rides in the tournament. He has achieved 8,004 rides in 252 matches on average 38.66, with 55 half centuries and eight centuries, including the best 113*career.
Kohli also holds a record for Royal Challengers captain Bengalur in most games, leading the team in 143 games and securing 68 wins. Last season he scored 765 running in 15 matches as he opened with Faf du Plessis. He broke the five fifties and one century (113 out of 72 against Rajasthan Royals).
RCB will start the IPL 2025 campaign against the Knight Riders champion defense on March 22. Kkr has an advantage in head to head record, winning 20 of its 34 meetings.
The royal challengers will play under the new captain Rajat Patidar. After passing the eliminator last season, RCB will be determined to raise his performance and finally secure their maiden IPL title.
