UK inflation falls to 2.8% in February
Inflation in the UK unexpectedly fell to 2.8 percent in February, the stimulus of the cancer Rachel Reeves while preparing for the delivery of spring statements with high roles.
The annual increase in consumer prices, reported by the National Statistics Office on Wednesday, was below 2.9 percent of forecasts by economists surveyed by Reuters, and 3 percent recorded in January.
The picture comes so that Reeves should draw more than 10 billion pounds of consumption of consumption in trying to repair hole in public finances caused by anemic growth and higher borrowing costs.
Permanent pressures of prices have encouraged the Bank of England to take over the “gradual” access to reducing interest rates despite poor growth. Last week he held rates at 4.5 percent.
