“I am looking for those who are still in prison, and some of them are their cases so absolutely terrible that these laws are no longer in force- I think these individuals would be worthy of pardons,” Johnson said.
“And then you have people who used their freedom well, and I had so many who were such a pillar in their communities,” she added.
She continued, “There will be those who seek pardons, and we will look at what they have done with their second chance of freedom.”
Johnson is a former prisoner Trump pardoned during his first administration. Trump spent Johnson’s life sentence in 2018 for non -violent drug trade after serving for 21 years in Alabama prison.

Former President Biden pardoned General Mark Milley, Dr. Anthony Fauci and others that some speculated may have faced investigations under the incoming Trump administration before leaving. Biden also transferred penalties of nearly 2500 prisoners, reducing their time spent in prison.
Trump also issued a swelling and pardon when entering duty, pardoning almost all accused on January 6th on the day of the inauguration.
