Pennsylvania Democratic State Senator Lindsey Williams gave a controversial testimony on the state capitol on Wednesday while opposition to the proposal Trans athletes from maiden sports.
In prepared notes, Williams suggested that athletes have been physically comparable to male athletes and not confront biological disadvantages.
“I want all the girls to know that there are chosen officials like me who believe that women’s bodies are as strong and fast and capable as men’s bodies,” Williams said.
“I want all the girls to know that there are elected officials like me who would never underestimate your ability to beat the boy in their own sport, because this is what premises the premise of this Law assumes, that women’s bodies are less than male bodies, that girls are automatically unfavorable, and cannot compete against the boy. Williams also suggested that the issue of biological men participating in sports for girls and women’s sports is “a fictional question”.
“For what reason, besides political gain, do we spend time and taxpayers on a completely fictional question?” she said.

Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as a democratic or leaning democrat, 67% said that transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.
