Sky Sports Robs cited: “I have no problem with the way our guys go through things. But there is no doubt that we have to improve when we do interviews; when players do their conferences after the match, we talk a lot of time.”
Key admitted that English players often failed to communicate effectively, which led to unnecessary controversy. He added, “They’re so hard that they don’t upset the players in the locker room, they don’t try to give something they don’t think they should, and then in the end they create titles through it. But I don’t kill people because of things they say.”

Key further explained: “There is no world where we think that the players do not care, that they do not want to go and get big results, that they do not care about winning, that they are arrogant. It is absolutely not true. Half of the time when they fall into problems, this is because they are actually trying to concentrate so hard that they make mistakes.”
